Domain names are purchased through any number of domain 'registrar'. Typically, it's about $15.00 per year. You pay registrars directly for this service.
A small site (less than 2 dozen pages, or so) will probably cost around $100.00 for the 1st year of hosting.
Then, a few hundred to few thousand dollars for the original content to be created and posted. (The price is a function of the number of pages and their complexity.)

If you don't need frequent updates, this is about all you will need. If you want to change your information from time to time, we offer very affordable maintenance contracts.
